The Triennial Mass takes place, usually, in the National President's final year of office in her home diocese. She invites all members from around the country to join with her in celebrating her three year term of office.
The Mass to mark National President Mrs Maureen Mayers term of office was held in the Cathedral of St John the Evangelist, Salford on 25th April 2015. The Mass was attended by the National President's family and over 500 members and guests from around the country. It was concelebrated by the Rt. Rev. John Arnold, Bishop of Salford, Bishop Terence Brain, Bishop Emeritus, Canon McBride, Frs. Stephen Parkinson, John Williams, Leo Heakin, David Irwin, Michael Murray and David Potter. The National banner was carried to the sanctuary by the National Vice Presidents Valerie Ward and Sheila Godley. The readers were National Treasurer Angela Higginson, National Secretary Irene Mitchell and the Gospel was read by Canon McBride. The gifts were carried by grass root members from Liverpool Archdiocese in the Offertory Procession.
At this Mass the National President Maureen Mayers presented Pauline Allen with a cheque for £14,000 which had been raised by members for the charity "Let the Children Live". Before the final hymn the National President Maureen Mayers was presented with the Bene Merenti award by Bishop Emeritus Terence Brain.
